ONE CLUB Gulf Shores is thrilled to announce our brand new addition of pickleball, the first public outdoor courts in South Baldwin County! ONE CLUB community residents and visitors now have full access to open play on our three lighted courts at 4500 Gulf Shores Parkway in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States, having become especially popular among Baldwin County residents. It combines elements of badminton, tennis, and ping pong; offering entertainment to those looking for leisure or competitive play. Retirees particularly enjoy the sport’s social nature and low intensity, but the game is a fit for players of all ages and skill levels.
We recently partnered with Baldwin County’s Pickleball Ambassador Eddie McDonald, a resident expert of the sport, who will help with coaching, lessons, and organized play. Eddie will lend his experience as an International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) certified instructor to oversee the courts and provide instruction for beginners, experienced players, and everyone in between.

We invite all area residents and visitors to attend our Pickleball Palooza Grand Opening on Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2 from 8 am to 8 pm. The public event will offer free open play, lessons, and clinics. Food and beverage service will also be available at our restaurant and entertainment venue Bar 45.
We expect the new pickleball courts to further our goal of improving health and wellness throughout Baldwin County. We’re looking forward to a positive response as we continue expanding our lifestyle amenities and services.
