NCAA Volleyball Championships
Named SportsTravel Magazine’s “Best New Event” in 2016, the National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship is held each May in Gulf Shores. ESPN hosts this national event each year on the beaches of Gulf Shores. Don’t miss the country’s best teams battle it out in the sand.
Annual National Shrimp Festival
The Annual National Shrimp Festival is an end of summer tradition, attracting more than 250,000 visitors each year and features a 10k walk/run, a sand sculpture contest, 300+ vendors, and of course, shrimp in every style!
Blue Marlin Grand Championship
Every summer, some of the world’s best fishermen gather at the Wharf Marina to land the biggest catch. This exciting competition is fun for competitors and spectators young and old!
USSSA World Series Baseball
Come cheer on your favorite ball players and enjoy all the sights and sounds that Gulf Shores has to offer as a family! Each summer, top little league teams from around the region come together to play and celebrate.
